Calm Day Privacy Policy

ATAY Nook (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides Calm Day, a personal and household planning application. This policy explains what information Calm Day processes and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
- Account information, such as your name, preferred name, email address, and account identifier when you sign in.
- Planner content you enter, including priorities, tasks, schedules, meals, shopping items, settings, and notification preferences.
- Finance entries you choose to store, such as budgets, income, expenses, savings, labels, dates, and amounts. Calm Day does not ask for or process bank-account or payment-card credentials in its planner.
- Household information, including invitation codes, connected-member details, sharing selections, and access permissions.
- Support communications you send to us.
How information is used
We use information to provide app features, synchronize information across your devices, enable household sharing, send requested reminders and activity notifications, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support or deletion requests.
Cloud services
Calm Day uses Google Firebase services, including authentication and cloud database services, to support sign-in and synchronization. Google may process technical information needed to provide those services under its own privacy terms. Your device and operating system may also process notification and diagnostic information.
Household sharing
If you join or create a household, information from the sections selected for sharing may be visible to connected members. Members may edit a section only when the household owner grants edit access. Invitation codes are intended only for the people you choose to invite.
Finance security
The Finance section can be protected using a PIN or supported device authentication. These controls help limit access on a device, but you remain responsible for securing your device and household access.
Data retention and deletion
Cloud information is retained while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated cloud data using our account-deletion instructions.
Your choices
You can change notification permissions through your device, adjust sharing permissions in Calm Day, leave a household, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Removing the app does not by itself delete cloud data.
Children
Calm Day is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy as Calm Day changes. The effective date above will be revised when changes are posted.
